Balanced Bodies
We ran a hyper-local Google Ads campaign for Balanced Bodies, an osteopathy clinic in Derby, targeting people searching for back pain solutions in their area. A dedicated landing page with an AI chatbot helps turn ad clicks into booked appointments.


Challenge
Balanced Bodies is an osteopathy clinic in Derby looking to increase bookings. During our research, we discovered that people rarely search for ‘osteopathy’ directly. Instead, they search for the problem they’re experiencing, like ‘back pain’. The clinic needed a way to get in front of people actively searching for pain solutions in their local area and guide them toward booking an appointment.
Solution
We set up a hyper-local Google Ads campaign targeting back pain searches within a 12-mile radius of Derby. The ads addressed the problem directly, talking about back pain, solutions, and whether osteopathy could help. Each ad pointed to a dedicated landing page that walked visitors through the types of back pain, how osteopathy works, and why Balanced Bodies is the right choice, backed by social proof. We designed two clear calls to action: book an appointment directly for those ready to commit, or request a free 5-minute consultation callback for those who want to speak to someone first. The clinic’s owner Ross identified that many people prefer to speak to somebody before committing. We also added an AI chatbot to the landing page that answers visitor questions and, based on their intent, recommends either booking or requesting a callback.
Impact
The campaign is generating strong visibility for back pain searches in the Derby area, with a click-through rate of around 6%. Enquiries and chatbot interactions have increased, leading to more appointment bookings. The callback option has been particularly effective for converting visitors who aren’t ready to commit immediately, giving the clinic a chance to have a conversation first.
